LEON: Garry & Generation S Collaboration

When a fashion designer from Roubaix meets an artist from Lille

A few weeks ago, during the Night of the Arts, Garry , a stencil artist from Lille, called out to me in my shop: "This work of recycling Indian materials on kimonos with original and mixed shapes is very interesting."

We talk, he tells me about his work with aerosol on 3 main themes: human portrait, animal portrait and handwork...

Bing ✨it matches!!!

Very quickly, as if it were obvious, we will “Create something together…”

Garry was inspired by my Japanese-inspired collections made from Indian saris and suggested the project he called LÉON 🦚

It took 15 hours to trace the stencil and cut it out by hand with a scalpel.

Then comes the step of realizing what he calls: The Project (and which I will call The prototype) and which he offered me 🤗

This step allowed us to refine our work.

Today, we invite you to watch, in replay, the live creation of a collector's duo, unique pieces which are exhibited at the Vestiaire boutique at 27 rue de l'espérance in Roubaix and put on sale online.
